God Be in My Hands

Father, as we go into our final week of preparation for our trip, we pray that you will be in our hands as we work for You. It will be a busy week of painting, beading, having a garage sale, and gathering all that we need to be in Germany for a week of work. Lord, may all that we do with our hands be guided by You. We pray for the work of our hands to be done with excellence as an offering to You.

...and you are to rejoice before the LORD your God in everything you put your hand to. Deuteronomy 12:18b

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Lord we pray to be reminded this week that we are doing far more than raising money to go to Germany. For everything that comes to us this week: financial support, prayer support, the chance to talk to people about You and our trip, growing in our faith in You for what we need...may we give You the glory,
