Divine Design is planning a trip later this summer to Germany! We will be working at The Hangar redecorating a room or two. We will also be planning some fun activities that will allow us to meet some air force wives at the nearby air force base.
We will be in Landscheid. I had not heard of it, but it is close to Trier, you might have heard of that city. It is not on this map, but if you go west from Frankfurt and Weisbaden, almost to the border of Belgium, that is where we will be. Look how close we will be to Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, and Switzerland!
The Air Force base that is close by is Spangdahlem Sir Force Base. Military families give up so much when they are deployed to another country. For me, it is hard to imagine uprooting yourself, your job, your kids, everything to go where the air force sends you. I am really looking forward to meeting some women at the base.
